About this role

Join behavioral health and residential program teams across San Diego County. You'll provide psychiatric nursing care in a structured, therapeutic environment — supporting adults and adolescents through crisis stabilization, medication administration, mental status monitoring, and therapeutic milieu programming.

Responsibilities

💊Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, document responses, and communicate changes to the treatment team.
📋Conduct psychiatric nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of client mental status.
🧘Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support within the therapeutic milieu.
📝Document clinical observations, medication administration, and incident reports per regulatory standards.

License & certification

✔️Required: Active California RN license, BLS/CPR certification.
⭐Preferred: De-escalation certification (CPI or equivalent), 1 year psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
